• Right hand. The ribbon traces the top of everything the right hand plays. Every key it strikes flares and fades like a real piano note.
• Left hand. The ribbon follows the bass line, the lowest note under your left hand.
• The arch between them is the harmony. It glows white when the hands agree and flickers orange when they clash.
• The staff lines ripple like piano strings from every note played on them.
• Sparks, shockwaves and pillars. Harder notes throw more sparks. The biggest accents send a ring across the page, and heavy chords fire columns of light.
• Cut to the music. Every camera move lands on a downbeat. You'll see riding along the page, a crane dive into the explosion, and a vertigo zoom into the key change, where the neon turns to fire. After the final chord and the last lone note, a wave of light rolls back across all 1,722 notes.
